€€ – Occidental Menorca is ideal for a family holiday whether you choose the all-inclusive holiday option or not. It has one of the largest kids’ pools, mini clubs and sports field areas, and with excellent entertainment, there is no real need to leave the hotel, so all-inclusive is a great choice.

Bonus tips for perfect family holidays in Menorca

  • If you mostly like watersports, boat trips and water activities, you might also want to consider staying in Fornells, as most watersports start here.
  • If you like to spend most of the time in the hotel with an occasional beach visit but don’t need much else nearby, the Royal Son Bou Family Club is also an excellent option, especially with the all-inclusive. The Son Bou area does not have much to see and do, but the hotel is perfect for families with lots to see and do and entertainment for all ages.
  • The most popular family holiday destinations are far from the Menorca airport. It is best to book a shuttle or taxi before arriving. Not only to save money but also time and ensure a quick transfer because taxis at the airport in Menorca accept a maximum of 4 passengers and rarely have child safety seats.
